Photos from the Hong Kong Protests
We’ve been in Hong Kong for the last three days filming a documentary about the ongoing protests. I didn’t get chance to take many photos with my actual still camera, but here’s some that came out alright if you’re interested.
A young protester in a V for Vendetta mask waving a “Liberate Hong Kong - Fight for Freedom” flag on top of a building on the corner of the Mong Kok police station.
Representatives of the Hong Kong protest movement hold a press conference in front of the cenotaph. The woman to the right translated in sign language.
A huge human chain was formed around the harbour, with people chanting almost non-stop for well over an hour.
The moment one of the “Frontliner” protesters lights a makeshift road block on fire in central Hong Kong.
A minibus driver waits as protesters make their way up a hill near Happy Valley after running from police.
Another Frontliner stands bashing the divider after teargas had been fired all night. (The smoky look of this isn’t the gas, I think my lens was misted up. Looks quite cool though I think.)
